I've never seen one in my life and I have the opportunity to own one for a VERY reasonable price. It's got rotted rocker's, but other than that, it's solid. It is the 18R-C engine, Chassis RT95. It's a coupe, it's SOLID other than the rockers. It's an auto, unfortunately.... and reads 60k on the odometer.
It definitely needs some work, and would be a project car. BUT, this is the first time I've EVER seen one in upstate NY and I have fallen in love. My question is, how rare are these and is it worth missing a months rent to get it? I have pics, but I don't want to show much until I actually get it lol. This is exactly what it looks like, only a resprayed blue: This post has been edited by RabidTRD: Sep 28, 2012 - 5:57 PM -------------------- 1994 Toyota Celica GT-S 5S-FE 190k Miles. Cheap enough, just buy it. It's shortly after Toyota got into the U.S. market, so anything from those years is fairly rare. Especially since most people just threw them away, they were economy cars. Imagine all the nice domestic cars from those years, and how few are left. So, why are you still reading this? GOOOOOO NOWWWWW!!!!

Old nissans and old toyotas are pretty common in puerto rico. Just like how americans are very much into old school american muscle, puerto ricans are gaga for old school japanese cars. My land lord has 4 of these. In my town there's a bunch of them, but not all are in pristine condition, go for it and buy it!!!

they are rare, period.. this is mine Very nice! MarkII? Whelp, I'm buying it. I've already got more than half the money set aside and in two weeks, I'll be handing him the cash. Here is a teaser pic: My boss is talking about how the automatic tranny in these isn't such a bad thing. He says you can still have a lot of fun with them and can definitely get it sideways. I've already got a ton of ideas going through my head... but first plan is to do the JDM fender mount mirrors like the picture above. Ever seen this Corona?
It's a 1JZ drifter... and auto lol. Idk what I'm going to do at this point, but first thing is to fix the rockers and little things here and there. -------------------- 1994 Toyota Celica GT-S 5S-FE 190k Miles. Auto, they ruined it. But getting all the small cosmetic stuff is a good way to start.

Son of a bitch. So the guy who was going to set me up with his sisters Corona came into my work today and told me that she sold it to his cousin for $400. I had $450 in my hand today to give to her for it... (yeah, that's how little I was going to pay for this car.) and she couldn't wait. I offered $600 for it to the cousin, but idk how that will result. SO pissed off right now.
But if all falls through, I have $450 to spend on the Celica for some much needed TLC. :\ I will also be going down the "frame bang gang" route with the Celica if I can't get this Corona. The Celica has no power, not going to be really racing it, so a good set of coilovers, properly fitted wheels, and moar low is in order. **** it, if I can't drive fast, I'll at least turn heads. ah that brings back memories, my best friend had one we called the sopwith camel becase it sounded like a ww1 fighter, sputtered, popped and missed like crazy. It was alway dependable though, we took it on a 500 mile road trip to see aerosmith and dokken.lol That was prolly before most of you were born.
one day we loaded up 7 people in it, and went on an adventure. Long story short the frisbee we had been throwing around ended up on the floorboard and wedged between the brake and the gas we went off a 10 foot drop where a bridge used to be, and went top side into a small river. It was pretty crazy but everyone survived except the sopwith camel. -------------------- JDM guy made me do it.

Idk, maybe the cousin will be tempted by the instant $200 profit and sell it to you.
