Ever since I had my GT-4 hood put on the passenger side of the hood always say slightly above the fender. Here are some pictures to show you what I mean.

And, here on the driver's side the hood sits perfect as soon below.

Any ideas what can cause this? Anyone who did the GT-4 front end conversion experience this? I've tried a number of things to try to fix this. I even tried to push it down myself and put a slight tiny dent on the hood now. Is there a slight problem with the hood seeing that it came off a RHD GT-4. Cause I know with RHD Celica's the black plastic cover where the wipers are are shaped differently than the LHD ones cause the wipers face the other way.

Thats strange man. I didn't have any problem like that. But my Celica is RHD and my bonnet came off a RHD GT Four.

my hood looks just like yours does, and I know what causes that. its from closing the hood when there is still a tool in the engine bay. I had the misfortune of leaving a socket on the passenger fender (right where it bolts to the unibody) and closing the hood. theres been a slight raise ever since

My hood is like this too, except its on the other side. Mine was like that when I got the car, so could possibly be from what enderswift mentioned. I don't think there is much that can be done because it seems to be a bend in the bonnet.

might wanna check the mounting bracket area and make adjustment there. Or Fiddle with the rubber plugs.

it might be a little bent or the metal piece that holds the hood in place might have been damaged while putting the hood on.
have you inspect it?
also did this happened with your OEM hood?
