hey guys, i found out this morning that our buddy Daniel "jaws4god" was in a motorcycle accident where a truck w/ no lights pulled in front of him. From what i understand Daniel struck the truck and had injuries to his wrist and knee requiring surgery, and has some bleeding of the brain with no swelling. he is currently at CMC (carolina's medical center) in charlotte nc in the ICU unit (detroit trauma) he went into surgery around noon today and hopefully will be ok!
pray for a great guy that puts god first. Cheers! will provide updates when i can, will be out of town, and will be unable to visit hospital -------------------- |

QUOTE (14:19:21) Daniel: That was a JDM hole in the side of the box too. There was so much JDM trapped inside that box that they couldn't contain it, so they had to put a JDM hole in the box to let the JDM out. .Hello,
My name id Adam. if you know daniel personally then you probably know me as well. i am at the hospital with him and his family. i can be reached by text at 704-224-1932. i am pretty much up 24-7 with maybe the occational 20minute nap. Daniel's surgery went very well and his wrist and knee where put back together nearly perfect. his right wrist has 1 pin in it for the next 3 weeks which they will remove after. his left knee on the other hand has playes and screws in it to hold it together. the doctor said it's the lower joint of the knee (the weakest part) that took all the damage and best way to describe the damage is like someone taking a sledge hammer and hitting it full force the opposite way it should bend. The only thing they are worried about is range of motion in it. he wont be able to drive for atleast 4-5 months. His bike is totalled. the impact to the trailer ripped the front tire off and bent the rim. the other guys riding with him said it was just like an explotion of plastic parts everywhere. the gas tank ripped off the bike. daniel got lucky and his helmet and himself hit headon into the hay. but he stayed on the bike the entire time. lucky enough a paramedic was driving by right when it happened and was able to stop and start working on him right away, so very thankful for that. He is currently in icu in serious yet stable condition at the CMC in downtown charlotte. he is in room 11603. the only time you can not visit is 6-8am 2-3pm and 6-8pm. I will be here until he is able to talk to us. he was able to shake his head yes and no tonight to answer questions. He joked around but is still in pain and wants the breathing tube removed, which should be removed around 8am today. please keep him in your prayers and i will update this thread and the other when i know anything. thank you Adam DeVoe 704-224-1932 devoe41@gmail.com |
