Im sure remy would be better for pictures, though. sure man, would be much better than a camera phone. Remy's camera is pretty good too, he's the one that took the vid of the engine open header. I need to shoot a good video, all the videos from my phone are super scratchy. anyone got request for shots? -------------------- ----------------------6GC's FIRST V6----------------------

as for dyno numbers, that will come eventually. I got a few things to tweak before, so I really can't say when.

-------------------- QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this. |

questions: 1. is there room for the AC? 2. do you know if you can get a front strut brace in there? |

Driving impression - It's quite a joy to drive, example, passes cars like if they were stopped... w/o down shifting. Having a large amount of torque in 80% of my RPM really makes the Celica feel light and strong.
corners are very sensitive to the right foot, a little too much and I'll find myself under steering like if I was on a patch of ice. Speaking of ice, when I'm driving on wet pave I can spin 1,2,3 like spinning on ice (rpm moves freely to the redline) In 1st gear I can spin/chirp/break loose on command, in 2nd I can almost chirp/spin on command but it takes a bit of a shock to break traction or else it just takes off. jdg371 - I'm pretty sure 245's would hold good as long as you don't pop the clutch, in corners they will spin if you put down the pedal too much and on a hard launch they would spin quite a bit but I'm just guessing here, put a V6 in your car and find out (V6GC#2 spot is still open, i think) Zimluura - AC Fits no problem, MZ compatible compressor, some custom hoses in the worst case et voila Right below the alternator is where it goes, pretty much the same spot as the 5SFE compressor. You can spot my two old lines from my AC (pict below) The stock strut bar fits in there but it gets in the way of the engine rocking back and forth... not good You'd pretty much have to make your own strut bar. Later down the road if demand is there I will be making custom parts for the V6 including a nice beefy strut bar. No promises though, It all depends how busy I am. -------------------- ----------------------6GC's FIRST V6----------------------

hey if you want you can give me that old front strut bar of your's. they stopped putting them on the 98 & 99's for some lame reason.
i am still curious to see what #s she puts down. did you do all the work on it yourself? nice job. -------------------- |
