Here's a pic of my splitters which have the remains of tape on them aswell, I think this smiley is talking about.
Any suggestions? I might have to remove mine too if it effects the fitment. -------------------- Speeding doesn't kill! It never has!

should peel off, if not , some heat, goo gone, finger nails. Shouldn't take too much to get that off.

should peel off, if not , some heat, goo gone, finger nails. Shouldn't take too much to get that off. Contrary to what some people say, hardened double-sided tape is NOT easy to remove. Trust me, last month I had to remove it from six pieces: front and rear splitters and side skirts. It was not easy, at all!!! I ended up buying small diameter wire brush (cca 2inches) and with the help of cordless drill I managed to get it off (you just have to be very careful not to go too deep into the material of the splitter/skirt). If it wasn't for this method, I'd be still scraping.... -------------------- '94 ST

Hopefully the OP can get their tape off with whichever way works -------------------- *1997 Celica ST - 3SGE Greytop BEAMS *1977 Celica RA29 - Classic Cruiser *2005 Matrix AWD - dedded but still hanging around like a ghost 2019 Rav4 XLE Premium - Sports mode is fun. |
