I had to replace my alternator and got an aftermarket one and now every time I stop at a light my every light in my car dims. This never happened with the stock alternator until it went bad. The battery was also replace when the alternator was so the battery isn't bad. The aftermarket alternator is a 70 amp alternator, autozone told me that's the only one that fits my car. Does anyone know what the stock alternator puts out for amps? Also, does anyone know what could be causing the lights to dim at idle?

Had the alternator tested at autozone today and it passed.... now i know that if it can't keep up power at idle rpms then something is wrong, the stock alternator had no issues keeping up at engine idle. I might get one off a celica in the junkyard near my house
