We should always obey the posted speed limits!!
Ok, with that being said..... I can't get over 120Mph!!!! I use a factory the JDM 3sgte ECU (ST215) and a S53 trans. At 5100 RPM in 5th gear the car drops off and bogs down every time. Is there a limiter in the ECU or something? Is it my transmission? It pull hard off the line and runs strong up to 120 then drops right off. I turned the boost in half and I only run it at 10 PSI so I'm not over boosting. What could be stopping me each time? |

JDM's are limited to 180kph or 112mph in ye olde world money, you can buy delimiter/converter chips on ebay for tu'pence that slow the speed signal so that when your gauge reads 30 it means 30mph rather then kph, what this does is change the limiter from 180kph to 180mph, easy to install etc only problem is the odo will trip over in miles and not km after fitting

i think you need 17psi ecu form st205 as an upgrade if your running st185 ( im not sure about the older 1980s gt4 ), or add an rsm or even just snip afew wires . But you may also have to sort your fuel cut defender to stop the shut down |

LOL!! i love this site!!
I don't have a FCD installed. I can use an st205 ECU and instead of the ST215 ECU? But if it's the ECU then I would look into a standalone or the new e-manage. i think you need 17psi ecu form st205 as an upgrade if your running st185 ( im not sure about the older 1980s gt4 ), or add an rsm or even just snip afew wires .
