Do not combine the red and yellow wire to one single wire on the harness. IRC when you combine those wires, you are removing your acc power, which will make your unit forget its settings each time you turn off the vehicle.

Check your fuses.

No audio to speakers sounds like your stock amp is not hooked up correctly. Also if I remember correctly, the power for the headunit also comes from a harness on the stock amp...could be wrong.

Panel is your gauge cluster, tail is for tail lights, ST is starter. Those fuses have nothing to do with speakers. If the head unit powers on, then it isn't a fuse problem. It has to be in the wiring harness somewhere.

Yea I meant fuses being he cannot get it to power without having to combine the 12v and acc.

But yea, the reason it won't power normal is because the panel fuse is blown. Replace and re-wire correctly.

Well the gauge cluster, tail lights and starter all work fine, so I don't know why those three are are not giving a reading.
The fuses must be okay, right?
I am presuming the battery lead (yellow wire) having no power and speakers having no power is the same problem.

More than likely, yes. The speakers get a signal from the head unit, so if the head unit turns on but the speakers don't have any sound, the problem has to be in the new wiring harness somewhere.

Problem wasn't fuses or wiring, the factory amp was blown.
So options were to either try and find a used one or hard wire to toyota's wiring. Chose to hard wire and get rid of the factory amp completely, which saved me from finding one, and plus the head unit provides more power than the factory amp did.
Bad thing is my guy charged me $100, and it took us a little over 2 hours. That factory amp is a pain in the ass to get out.
