I did the how-to on the CEL. Came up as the second o2 sensor. I changed that sucka and I'm still guzzlin gas. The light came back on when i was racing this Camaro (just for kicks...got smoked by the way owned.gif ) Z28. I didnt redline but came close. I parked at my bois house and when i was leaving, the CEL came on. I waited till the next day to do the how-to and the code 27(second o2 sensor) came up again. What else do i need to check? confused.gif The o2 sensor is 2 weeks new.

EDIT: Any suggestions will help guys, Thanx.

unscrew your gas cap and then put it back on and then Clear out your ecu... you would be surprised as to how often that does it...

edit: let me rephrase that.. unscrew the gas cap and then put it back on and then start your car.. see if the light stays off.. if it comes back on. then disconect your battery and wait a few mins and hook it back up and turn on the car.. if it still comes one then ( might be wrong here cant remember on 5sfe and dont have manual with me) but think there is 2 or maybe 3 o2 sensors might be one of the other ones

Thanx for the reply. I changed both, and we only come with two o2 sensors. But i'll give your suggestion a try.
