so i have a 96 5s block and a 98 5s head. these take diff head gaskets. which gasket do i buy if i want to use this. the valve guides on the 96 are toast so i have a spare 98 head in the garage that i saved.

isnt the difference the thickness of the headgasket? the later models had the thicker steel headgasket. i think....

the diffrence in the gaskets is the 98+ got a metal gasket.
