alright I drive a 96 GT hatchback. And I came up with this idea one night when I had nothing better to do. Alright well theres nothing between the trunk of the car and the back seat but a board or w/e ya wanna call it, and it jus lifts up with tha hatchback with two strings.. so I thought well what if I unhook that piece, and I could take it out. What I wanna do is build a custom box to fit my trunk so that the subs were behind the back seats headrests. what do yall think about this idea? Would it be too much sound for such a little car? I figured Id go with two 10"s because 12"s might be alittle much. Gimme your input on it. Thanks

i think that would be neat, althought it seems like it would take up a lot of space. you can see a pic of my custom sub box by lookin in my profile. feel free to ask me any qeustions about it if you are interested.

Man, yours looks so good. If I considered doing that could you post up the specs and maybe a small how-to?

Hey,
I do alot of Custom Box's and Interesting Tricks. I was thinking of your situation And came up with a few ideas. You could Fiberglass your Spare Tire Holder and I think there might be enough space in there for 2 10"s or a single 12". Another Idea Is to use the area between the Rear Tire /side / Rear Tail Light Area. And build 2 small box's for 2 10"s. thats my Ideas. check out my Car got my Info Listed If you want more help.

thanks for the compliments. i would be mroe than happy to give help. contact me on Aim and make sure to say something about help with speaker box. i actually still have the stencils for the top piece that i would be willing to get rid of. that is the ONLY hard part.
