Guys, I have a 3 post wing and I can't take it off. I removed the nuts and gave the studs a healthy whack with a drift punch. Nothing.

Any trick to getting it off?

Everything is stock and wing has never been removed before.

when i was first taking mine off, i came across the same problem, it is glued on, and there is 2 clips holding it on, just give it a good yank and it should pop right off.
remember, there is 2 bolts on the left, 2 on the right, and one in the middle. there is one clip on the right side closest to the back, and the other on the right, closest to the back.

I did give it a good yank. I could see the trunk sheetmetal flexing. If I yank any harder the trunk lid sheetmetal is going to bend. I did remove the 5 nuts. Didn't see any clips.

Anyone try soaking it in WD40 or anything like that?

fishing line.

use it to cut the rubber. put it between the car and spoiler and work your way around the screws.

Thanks. That did it. Very thin fishing line, lots of heat from a hair dryer, took a long time. Then took another half hour to get the sealant off the lid and off the wing. That stuff is very sticky.
