I've got a book at home called Rally Cars that has this picture in it, but I've never seen it online until recently. Admittedly, the picture in the book is much lager, but I still think it's a pretty neat pic nonetheless-
![]() This photo was taken at TTE's headquarters in Cologne, Germany during development of the Celica Twin Cam Turbo aka "the whistling pig". ![]() Extensive endurance testing was performed during the development of the race-spec 3T-GTE in order for it to stay competitive during select endurance rallies in the Group B era (the whistling pig was one of the last RWD cars in a time when AWD was nearly universally used). The testing paid off, as the car's most notable success was a hat-trick of Safari wins from 1984 to 1986. If it wasn't for the racing success of the whistling pig, Toyota would have never bothered with creating the GT-Four ![]() This post has been edited by saleeka: Sep 20, 2010 - 3:38 PM -------------------- Car #3: 98 Accord LX- purchased 5/06, totaled 8/06
