sounds nice, but i don't think you're gonna get $15,000 for it. not even if it were a turbo model. if a dealer offered you that, then you should take it. i've never been offered more than $9000 at a dealer for my car.

Nice... yes, the late model MR2's are very rare, however, it's hard to sell them basically because most people would rather pay 3-4 grand and get the exact same thing, only a 91-92 model. Being n/a is gonna hurt the sale value even more. IF a dealer offered you 15k trade in... do it. Trade it in for something you can use. That's my opinion on the matter, only cause it's gonna be hard to sell it around that price being it's not a turbo version.

if you call up toyota, they actually sent more 95s to the states than the 94s. really rare cars. price is about average, your paying for the prestige of the final year and the low miles more than the actual value of the car.

" 382 sold in 94 and 895 sold in 95"

rest of the thread is here: MR2FAQ.com thread

true, but if u kept reading, you would see the reply that david hawkins made which says

"Bear in mind that this is SALE information and not PRODUCTION information. It doesn't strike me as odd at all that more were sold in 95, since they were clearing out the left over 94s at that point. Considering that the 94 base price shot up to $28K, not many people were even looking at them anymore.

Toyota corporate has always been kind of lame when it comes to production numbers. You never get the same number twice and they can't break it down into sub groups at all. I hate that a Corvette owner can know that his car is one of a kind because it's Gold with the XQ5 stereo system, but we can't even find out how many red cars were made in a year."
