The biggest injectors for the Rev3 3SGTE are 850cc as they are side feed.
The Rev3 3SGE fuel rail is top feed, and as the heads are identical will fit the 3SGTE, and should accept top feed injectors bigger than 850cc. Rail may need boring out.

FWIW, the 5s rail is also top feed, and can be modified to fit the gen3 as well, and has the larger bore already.
do you have any good pics of the 3sge rail?

Hi Manny, got a fuel rail sittin in the garage. Will get some pictures with internal bore diameter.
My ST205 is already running 512brake at 1.6bar with Sard 800cc at close to 90%. I am sure the 3SGE rail will fit with bigger injectors. This will pave the way forward for others too without having to buy expensive fwel rails.

Don't think this rail can be bored out as it has threads on both ends - inlet of fuel and outlet where FPR is fitted.

you can bore it, then use a tap to rethread it.
i'd think 12mm ID would be large enough, ATS top feed rails are -8an inlet and outlet, 8an hose is 1/2" outside diameter, 12mm = .472"

Come to think about it, the ST205 rail also uses the same fittings, so should be 12mm ID.
In that case, the ST202 3SGE rail should work.

Looks like the answer is - "downgrade to upgrade!"

Already running at just over 510 brake on 800cc Sard's, 850 will hardly make any difference.
The G3 3SGE uses a top feed fuel rail which has a 12mm bore and will fit the 3SGTE head as a direct swap. So was going to use this in place with 950cc or 1000cc top feed injectors.
Most people upgrade to AN6 fuel lines which are 13mm (1/2") fuel lines, and the fuelrail in G3 3SGE is almost there in bore diameter
