Here it is!
Took the pic of both Celicas when I went to Best Buy and there was the grey celica parked there and somehow the lady next to it pulled out... |

Rock on man. For some reason (I've noticed this on my car and yours) but doesn't the front bumper seem like it's a different color? Why is this?
PS dont waste your time blacking out the plates... none of us here are out to get you This post has been edited by Andason: Nov 9, 2003 - 11:32 PM -------------------- i am awesome

Yeah notice that too... i have no clue why. The paint on the fenders are getting dull and the whole car could probably use some nice polishing and waxing...
But... too many other things to do right now so that'll have to wait. The transmission also grinds when I shift it into third, both from a higher and lower gear. I'm gonna have the selling dealer fix that while it's under warranty. other than that it's a great car! oh... that's because the plates are not supposed to be on that car This post has been edited by holson: Nov 9, 2003 - 11:35 PM |

thanks...
oh and I had my first ever real race in it :-p it was a red pimped out Civic... id say 96 MY civic. He jumped it but I managed to pull even or either lose or win by a little bit. However thanks to the car not wanting to go into 3rd, it had to end... Good race though! |

20 -
gotta talk to the selling dealer. Hopefully they won't make a fuss over this transmission work. kind of figured it was the syncros. It would go into gear if I shift it slowly or match the revs.. downshifting into 3rd is really interesting... The brakes squeal too ... don't know what I'm gonna do about that. maybe I'll just drive it like that until it needs pads or take the pads out and put those brake pad paste. the brake fluid was recently flushed (*i think* judging by the color of the fluid) |

I figured out my car was in an unreported front end accident and is why my front bumper is off-color. They didn't remove all the evidence, as when I bought the car the driver's side headlight brackets were broken...so I'm sure it was something dumb/miniscule and the owner just paid for it himself. I'd check your headlight brackets and make sure none of them are broken...if so...it's been in a little accident.

I think its just a natural paint fade issue common on older celicas.....my 94 has the same thing with the front bumper and ive seen it on other older celicas as well, and mine was never in an accident.

More pictures!!
some night pictures After cleaning up the Celica... *the headlights suck even with 65W modified-9005 bulbs in place of the 9006 low beams* It's not a beauty queen I know... but... it moves.. BTW, I never noticed just how tall the antenna is!! damn... The front quarter panels are not pretty anymore... I'm gonna buy an orbital buffer and use all those scratch remover, paint cleaner, polish, wax and see if it can be helped Any tips on improving the headlights' output?? If you don't like your antenna get the S2k mod.
