there is a snap ring on the axle, you have to use a pry bar and pry one the axle. give it a small rotation then pry, repeate, it will pop out when it finds its sweet spot

while your replacing the cv go ahead and spend another 10 bucks on a new inner axle seal, and a seal puller, make sure you use the seal puller it will make your life a whole lot easier. and like i figured out its alot easier to replace it the first time than to take it apart and do it all again

hope this helps!
http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showto...2;cv+axle\ I would just get underneath the car, get a smackable large flat head screwdriver and smack that axle out. -------------------- |
