Those do look pretty similar. Only one way to find out! If my SS-III brakes don't get shipped out soon, I'll definitely measure every aspect of the pads to see how close they are.

Yes the MR2 turbo pads do fit the ST202 twin pots, I said a while back in richee3's thread that they might. I wanted to find a thread on another site, where this person had mr2 pads on ST202 twin pots to confirm it. Plus the TRD pads part numbers confirm aswell

So as following specs are you can see that they do sell SS-III twin calipers online in which seemed to be refurbished
The twin piston caliper specs (SS-III): Piston Diameter: 40.4mm Piston Count: 2 Total Piston Area: 2563.79mm2 (25.6379cm2) http://www.brakepartssuperstore.org.uk/con...-uk/d11440.html This post has been edited by BonzaiCelica: May 8, 2012 - 6:25 PM -------------------- Group buy to replicate Narrow E series transaxle parts

I'm pretty we can use 1st gen (94-97) Avalon Twin pot calipers. http://rav4gtt.files.wordpress.com/2012/08...ontcaliper.jpeg I can confirm this fits on these 1st Gen (94-97) Avalon or w/ABS Twin Pot Calipers, do in fact fit Celica GT Brake Bracket perfectly!! From the info I've gathered, these calipers came on the following cars: 95 - 97 Toyota Avalon w/ABS 94 - 96 Toyota Camry V6 w/ABS 94 - 96 Lexus ES300 Caliper specs: Piston Diameter: 43.5mm Piston Count: 2 Total Piston Area: 2902.93mm2 (29.0293cm2) This post has been edited by SXA10: Sep 23, 2012 - 1:28 PM |

WHY DID YOU PUT AVALON (SS-III)(I only say this not to confuse new members) when an avalon is not a celica?? is that all avalons or which specific models?? do you have pictures of it mounted on the car with stock 275mm gt brake rotors I've made the appropriate changes to make it clearer. I have pics but this is for a different Toyota vehicle and I think you'd agree, I shouldn't confuse anyone. I can only confirm they'll fit on the Celica GT Brake Bracket. This would indicate they fit the stock 275mm GT Brake Rotor. The Avalon/Camry/ES300 rotor is 275mm and 28mm thick with a 49mm offset height. They are of a different lug pattern, 5x114 vs the Celica's 5x100. Just look for yourself...here are the Avalon/Camry/ES300 rotor: Vs the Celica GT rotor: This post has been edited by SXA10: Sep 21, 2012 - 4:05 PM |

the es300 does not work, the offset of the caliper is wrong.

Those calipers are from a 4th Generation MCV30 Lexus ES300 02-03 & ES330 04-06.
They are not the same calipers I'm referring to. This post has been edited by SXA10: Sep 23, 2012 - 1:28 PM |
