upgrading to avalon/es300 twin piston calipers are a 13.78% larger which allows for better heat dissipation. a better option than those guys upgrading from ST to GT brake set up. even gt can do this for cheap and get good high speed braking capability, so that your brakes wont pulsate as much

I can confirm that the calipers from a 94 camryV6 with abs bolt on directly. However one of the calipers I got from the loca yard wwasn't good so nothing to report on performance but they do fit. Will update with pics later

The MR2 SW20 has a smaller front caliper (pistons are smaller) and the rears are about the same as the celica... so upgrading to these calipers means you're going to have basically better braking performance than an MR2, and those have really good stopping power. That's really cool. I might do this really soon.

If you guys want even more stopping power get the 2003-2008 Avensis front disc rotor 295mm and 2001-2003 ES300 brake caliper.
Avensis front rotor n single piston caliper fit in 7gc no problem. The rotor of the avensis n es300 are 95% identical. The es300 has a 28mm thickness while avensis is 26mm. The es300 gets twin piston caliper! -------------------- Group buy to replicate Narrow E series transaxle parts

This is good to know, I'll probably end up doing this since it's a pretty cheap upgrade; although finding an Avalon with dual piston at the junkyard would probably be difficult.
