I'm looking into getting this VIS front bumper for my car:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/94-99-Celic...sQ5fAccessories

Does anyone on here have one or know of anyone having one and how it fits?
I know it's a little different but the pre nor post face bumpers have enough room in the grill for big fog lights.
Please let me know! smile.gif

I don't mind if I have to cut it in areas then fiberglass over it cause it's pretty simple, and my dad knows how to do it as well.
My main thought is to put projector fog lights in the 2 small holes on the sides and then two decent sized fog lights in the middle of the grill.
And then see if the GT4 grill might possibly fit in the upper cut out. (If not, then more lights haha, jk.)

Every kit fits different frown.gif
If ur up for the challenge of it possibly not fitting at all, I say go for it smile.gif. Its ur car you obviously picked that bumper for a reason tongue.gif Its your car do what you want. There just may be quite a few hours of modding and frustration mad.gif lol

My fronts a VIS and fit like crap! But the rear fit fine, like i said everykit is different, gotta just go for things sometimes and hope for the best smile.gif

@Cam (ted95) - I mean I wouldn't really be spending that much if I sold off my 97 bumper with the fogs. I could get some decent money for them.

@Nick (mgnt232) - The reason I even thought about looking at that bumper is because it will be a little bit different. It looks like a nice bumper in my opinion, and, like you guys said, it might not fit the best, but I'm up for a challenge!

ya u are right you could get money back too, but then you gotta go out and get the body filler and fiber glass and such, i mean if your up for the challenge go right ahead my dude thats fine man, in the end it is YOUR CAR, like i once told Nick, you do what makes you happy with your car and dont let anyone tell you other wise.

if it were me and i had the facelift bumper like u do, id go ahead and pick up some ss-III splitters, (like i have in my garage biggrin.gif ) but do what u gotta do to make your car different.

like right now im tryin to see if i can get some widened steelies to make my celi different lol, do what makes you happy bro

took me 6hours to line my front end up after i put my bumper on and i still cant get it straight. but like everyone says, what you see is what you get. couldnt be more true with body kits like this.

@ Cam - Basically I'm selling my subs to my friend for $300 so I would definitely have the money to get it. And yes, I would love front SSIII splitters, but I want something a little different biggrin.gif I have a pair of rears in my shed though (well you already knew that haha)

@ 4-eyed-freek - That's a pretty long time. I do have my other car (soon to be parts car) with everything on the front end still so I'm going to use the front end from that car to make the bumper fit right. I'll have the whole winter to work with it because I'm painting the car in the spring. The only thing I have to check on that car is to make sure that everything on the front end is lined up right because I think it might have been in a slight front end accident.

I realize I might run into some problems now, but I love working on things and learning new stuff along the way! (ie: how to use fiberglass and body filler)

I just make a quick photoshopped photo of how I kinda "want" it to look once I'm done, except the bumper will be black. I just couldnt get it to do the black overlay right, but I think you guys will pretty much get the point.
I'm looking to do either 2 or 4 fog lights in the center grille, two projector fog lights on the sides, and see if a gt4 grille might fit in the upper section.
As for the bottom grille, there may or may not be mesh grille behind it. If I do do it, it would be black.

Here's the picture:
