I like that one. IMO, it would've looked better in black. this is the one i have. Greddy counterweight shift knob. GREAT shift knob! I SWEAR BY IT! (but in the summer you better wear a batting glove or somethin cuz your hand will BURN! ) where'd you get yours. the ones i looked at are for hondas. not sure if the size is the same as toyota, which i doubt. this is the one i have. Greddy counterweight shift knob. GREAT shift knob! I SWEAR BY IT! (but in the summer you better wear a batting glove or somethin cuz your hand will BURN! ) I never had any problems with the knob being too hot to touch or my hand getting burned from it you guys must drive convertibles and leave the top down with the sun shining on it all day or something lol i looked thru my history and couldnt find where i mentioned it (thread may have been deleted) but a honda one will not fit (gear shift is too skinny iirc) remy u never got burned by the metal greddy knob?! you must have some MEAN callouses! i have to wear a glove on my hand when i shift its so hot, or cover it up. i have a regular coupe with out a sunroof -------------------- |

in the link it says toyota and 12mm thread thingy..so doesnt that mean it would fit for the celica?..idk haha The 12mm "Nylon adapter" is like a rubber piece that slips over your threaded shift stick, then the actual knob goes over that adaptor and then it uses small pointed studs that get screwed in and grip onto the rubber adaptor to hold the knob in place. I think most universal aftermarket shift knobs work this way, All the ones I've ever used have. It works, kind of ... I found our shift sticks get fatter than 12mm after the thread finishes, so the adaptor cant slide all the way down, so then your new shifter sits higher than your stock knob. This could vary depending on the knob style though, happened to be the case with mine though, I found a way around it though. -------------------- Speeding doesn't kill! It never has!
Stopping suddenly .. Thats what gets you! |
