finally im starting my swap on my 99 auto celica gt, ill post up pics soon. im throwing in a 3rd gen 3sge in there. i was comparing the plugs from the cabin and it seems that my original 5s one has more wires on one of the plugs than the new 3sge one. im assuming because mine comes with abs and its obd2, and the other harness is obd1 i believe and no abs. does anyone have that wiring diagram ? i have seen the ones on the forums but it looks like those are for the ecu it itself.

Buy a 5sfe wire diagram book, the only info out there on the 3rd gen 3sge is the ECU pinout.

Wiring is similar but the not the same between the 5sfe and 3sge. You'll also have to extend the harness like 2-3 feet.

Always buying stock wheels... PM me if interested in selling.

Score got my 3s to fire up, will post pics soon, the only thing I need to wire up is the srs wire, from fuse box to cabin harness. And to redo my exhaust pipe.

hot dude! Why'd you paint the clutch parts?? lol - ain't ever gonna see em. I'd also be worried about what burning paint/ paint flakes would do in there. Drive it yet?

Thanx for coments, it's powder coated From the clutch company, and no not yet, I still need to bleed my clutch and it seems since the shifter I bought from b&m is from a 7gen it's really close to my handbrake handle, . But maybe by this week I'll take her for a spin. And the wiring I dindnt have to cut and extend, I just took off that plastic cover by the trans side and it gave the lenth I needed, I'll try to post those pics tomorrow.

congrates on the 3S-GE swap thumbsup.gif

appears to be a auto 3S-GE, looking at the 2 wires going to the tb, which means the intake camshaft is smaller
Manual In: 252deg, 9.8mm lift
Auto IN: 240deg, 8.7mm lift
exhaust is the same

great execution on your downpipe/b-pipe. I was talking to a buddy of mine and he was mentioning I do the same to my current exhaust setup so that I get rid of the raspyness in my exhaust noise.

what exhaust shop set that up for you. Even the flange is great!! see this is what mine looks like :

yeah it is a auto 3s, the flange i had one of my dads friend make it for me, he works with cnc machines and he was able to hook me up with the flange. as for the b-pipe my muffler guy did it by my shop. the only thing i didn't like was the finish on the welds, but it works. and the tone of my exhaust sounds way different from my 5s, and i'm still running my stock exhaust. which i plan to change soon. The only thing is that it doesn't feel torquey at the take off but it picks up speed around 3k. im guessing it could either be the long runners on my b pipe or the light flywheel i used. on the freeway it pulls nice especially @5k sounds like vtec engauges. when i do my cold air intake and exhaust ill post more pics.
