So I'm new to the forum thing but excited. I would love to start building up my celica but I'm not sure where to start I have had it since High school it's a 94 2.2 all stock except a crappy short ram air intake from eBay and a body kit I bought in high school as well. ( I will have pics soon) I'm not an idiot when it comes to cars but I know I still have a ton to learn that's why I joined. So my question is where do I start??? Should I keep my motor or start looking for a better one to swap?? I'm really excited to start working on so any advice helps

the best place to start is in the stickys in the various subforums of this board.
all types of swaps, forced induction, suspension, exterior and interior styling are covered.
also learn to use the search function, its a great tool to help you find answers to your questions, chances are most of them have already been answered in previous posts.

welcome to the board!

You want power but have no money. That's a problem.

Cheap. Reliable. Fast. Pick two.

Welcome to the board! you can find ALOT of info on here. over the years, many of the members including myself have covered almost everything. If i were you, id start off just learning about the 5sfe in general. learn about what you can do to the 5s and what different engines you can swap into your car as well. best bet would just start learning the car as it sits. then work up from there. if you dont know your car like the back of your hand then during a swap or boost build youll go into Viking mode and feel like pillaging a small town. If your looking to Boost the 5sfe Check out Presure2's thread as well as mine! happy learning. feel free to PM me if you have questions. WELCOME TO THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF 6GC.NET. biggrin.gif
