honestly your better off getting a used motor than taking the extra time for new mounts and what not.

You may be able to fit your old motor mounts on your new engine. Make sure the original mounts dont interfere with your timing cover/belt or anything else. If its cheaper to do all the work just to get it on the road, than to mess with 1.8, id say go for it.

Wrong, 7afe and 5sfe mounts are completely different and not all of them bolt in the same location.

I would advise you to sell the 5sfe and use that money to get your 7afe running again. PM me if you need any parts or help.

^^^ correct. there is nothing interchangeable between the 2. you will also need the transmission that bolted to the 5S-FE. your transmission will not work. like said above. its much better to sell that 5S-FE for a few hundred bucks and wither rebuild your 7A-FE or just buy a "working" replacement. seach the forums for my rebuilding the 7A-FE thread. over 100 pictures.
