hi, just wondering if the 7gen air bag can be installed on 6gen? need mod on the wiring?

im going to get a 7gen set which incl steering wheel and air bag , just wondering if the air bag need some mod to connect to my 6gen

yes it can be done, i havent written an install guide yet. you will have to cut and soldier the airbag wires because the plugs are different, but its a no brainer. you will use the 6th gen cruise control switch.

if I am are replacing my oem steering wheel with the 7gc wheel...how do i know how to put the 7gc steering wheel on in the right location since i won't be using the old steering wheel anymore? how did you do it and how do you know? (i am suppose to make a marking on the steering wheel, but if it's not the same steering wheel, then the alignment would be off correct?)

^ You just have to make sure your steering wheel (and your wheels) are perfectly straight.
Just before you put the airbag back on, go for a quick test drive to make sure it's straight, if the steering wheel isn't then readjust it.
