Ok....I am kind of stumped right now about what kind of car appearance things to use. I have been using Turtle Wax 2001 Car wash and turtle was extreme wax. I need a was that will stay on longer than this stuff and a wash that doesn't strip wax. I looked at some of the car polishes, those look good...what is the downside of using a polish over a wax? I looked at Meguires wax and also their ScratchX stuff. But I am not sure...kind of stumped. I want the best stuff. Who ever can put in any advice on what you use or stuff that you know is the best then please post. I just want the best stuff.
Also...does anybody have like a chart on how often you are supposed to change fluids and do other maintenence? Just wondering, thanks. |

I used to use Meguiars a lot...it's good stuff, but Nu Finish converted me. Awesome, awesome wax/polish. Beads like crazy, and for a long time.

Meguiar's is great stuff, but their ScratchX doesn't work at all for me. Maybe I didn't apply it properly, but id didn't do anything. Wouldn't recommend it.

Hey check out Meguiar's web site. I use only there products for the outside detailing of the car. But you should use both a polish and a wax. Also check out this post on Celica.net about car care. Its got some good info in it.
