I just did some winter maintenance, & the hold down is gone!!!!

Is this avail from the dealer, or do I post in WTB?

In the meantime, Im going to the Zone to get a bungee or strap.

May have lost it bc I have a replacement that is taller than stock, & had trouble tightening the aftermarket crap which
wasn't but barely tall enough to catch threads.

Any ideas??

Thanks folks!!!

Check that it didn't fall inside the fender. That happened to me when the dealer forgot to secure the battery. I almost spent $20 getting a generic replacement.

Almost any auto store should have a universal battery clamp hold down with or without J hooks you can use that's what I used on mines $8 and looks oem and the clamp is not metal its made of rubber so it doesn't rust and corrode.

Thank You for the replies & tips!!!

Remy-- I had the OE hold down with aftermarket J hooks because those were
longer, but still barely enough to get more than a few threads screwed to the wing nuts.

So Friday I'll be calling the dealer for availability & maybe the battery too!!!

brk34-- Will do!!

Meanwhile, I'm with cheela & the bungee!!

cjh4122-- I'll see what happens & thanks for letting us know.

Rob, I have the top bar that sits across the battery as long as you still have everything else. I can get it in the mail tomorrow if it's all you need.
