Hello, since I cant seem to find a 6thgen Celica GT Hatchback 5-speed for sale, I have no other option but to buy an automatic and do a manual conversion. In my all honesty I would rather buy an ST and say to hell with it, but nonetheless i am stubborn and must have a 6g GTHB. So grace me with your knowledge fellow 6GC owners!

I need to know what all I need and the prices.

I have MAJORITY of the parts.

It took me about 2 hours to do it. I know it may not have been the fastest, but I felt that it was a pretty clean job. I have done the conversion to a 90 celica and a 94. I have the parts for the GT to do so, but you will have to find GT shifter cables and driverside mount. Don't know if the axles are interchangeable between auto and manual.

I have all the parts minus the shifter cables and driver side mount. $400 plus shipping.

I scratched the idea of auto to manual. I'm just going to wait until a 6g GTHB 5 speed pops up somewhere. Patience, patience, patience. Now this topic posting needs to be deleted.

Yep.. Just gotta be prepared and have everything on hand. Takes me about 30 minutes to remove the s54 transmission, because its uber light hahaha an e153 on the other hand, will take a little longer.
