Ok so, following my very first topic, I need to change my IWP on my GT4. I found on another website, the OEM part for sale for 750$...which I think is ridiculous.

I've done some researches, and found about the Bosch Cobra IWP, and I heard some 6th gen owners have it installed on their car, but I'm wondering if it's any good for a GT4 version, and if it requires complicated fitting to get it installed.

here's a link to the water pump in question: http://www.siliconeintakes.com/product_inf...roducts_id=1001

Any advices?

What is wrong with the old pump? If its noisey then its most likely to be the bearings worn (a common fault) which is easily and inexpensively repaired.

where can I order such bearings ? mine is driving me nuts, it super loud, I checked the toyota catalog and they dont list any internals for the pump.

Look for 205 Intercooler Pump Overhaul, there are part numbers and a walk through guide on the bearing replacement.
I got my bearings from ebay for pennies smile.gif

Hi,

you can also go for a jabsco cyclone marine pump (80L/min 1,5bar), it fits plug&play in the oem mounting bracket

you just have to build a 54-killer, to buy a 30amp relay with some wiring, and buy/weld the correct hose connectors

Electric wiring of the intercooler water pump
