I've been hesitating lately, My celica never went out in snow, until last month. Before the snow came, I got it rust proofed by Krown.
But recently, I've been hesitating if I want to keep driving it in winter or not...
I was told if I wash under the car regularly on warm days (when snow is thawing) to remove the excess salt so it won't rust under the car and still be able to enjoy its 4x4 in snow.

Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them.
Slow down Paul Walker.

my car was originaly purchased in NYC, then sold to another person in Long Island NY and then to me, so all its life has been around snow, I drive it every single day, snow or not, and my car has no rust. as you were advised I washed my car after every snow storm to get rid of the salt, so as long as you take care of the car, it won't rust away at all.

Toyota had rusting issues up until mid 80s, but that was fixed.
