Hello,

I can buy a MR2 Supercharger with intercooler and intake manifold for a very nice price (with the brackets and piping). I'm wondering though if it'll be easy to fit the 4agze intake manifold on the 7afe head?

What is a relatively cheap piggyback that will do the job? I'm not looking for excessive boost, but more like about 6-8 psi max. I either doesn't has to pull after 6250 rpm, i prefer torque over horsepower.

Will the normal clutch and gearbox be able to handle the extra torque?

Thanks!

The A series heads are all different. An 4age small port manifold does not bolt up to a 4age big port head. 20V don't fit either 3. Its mostly the port and the studs that holds them in place. But I could be wrung.

I think myself that the fitment of the manifold isn't the biggest problem. Today i checked with my brother's Corolla FX16, which has a Levin 4AGZE (165hp) engine in it and he has the supercharger at the place where i have my power steering pump. So the most difficult part is moving that damn pump. I think when the pump is moved the allignment shouldn't be a problem and i think it'll fit well at that place.

Has someone already moved his power steering pump or converted it to a electric pump? And how difficult was it?

The other option would be to remove the aircon, but i'm absolutely not going that way. A black car without aircon, no shouldn't even think about it wink.gif

Its a good workout on the celica without power steering! I was sore for days when I first started after that I think I gained 2lbs of muscle mass on my arms.
