Hello my 94 celica gt after 4 years of ownership has decided to start locking her own doors when parked even if I leave the key in the ignition!!! This is not good as you all know eventually I will get locked out in the middle of nowhere. Can anyone tell me what might be the problem? IF this was some sort of option that just started to work incorrectly?

THanks,
Brandon

The car came with an aftermarket alarm system but nothing to control it. THe owner didn't install it either so he couldn't tell me anything about it. So I am at a loss as to if it controls door locks. I believe it is made by radioshack. Do you have an aftermarket alarm? That is my guess as for now. I pulled the door lock fuse as I don't want to get stranded somewhere.
Thanks

you have to pull your battery out for 12 hours make it 13 cause it resets the whole locking system.
