Nice blinky!!
I dont regret not going nitro, i mean for power i sure as hell do. After talking to people using nitro for a long time they have it gets damned expensive(not just the gas but the engine maintenance) and they wish they would've gone brushless elec. Tires tires tires tires...Get a GOOD set before you do anything.. |

1 year bump. Sprint 2 sport was sold because I threw it into too many damn walls . At one point in the wet I threw the car into the corner of a wall and is just MAULED the rear end. Shattered the whole rears suspension, bent the axle, broke the rim. That was the point at which I said **** this, Ill get another one sometime. But I just bought this baby today:
Kamikazzee lower chassis Proline upper and cage Metaled out axial tranny novak 55t motor Locked Venom axles 2.2 rs10xt beadlocks with moded swamp dawgs RC4WD esc w/ drag brake Traxxas waterproof servo 2.4ghz tactic Integy metal shafts Aluminum Front steering knuckles and Cs. Will be taking the nice parts off my old rig and then parting out whatever is left. This post has been edited by SupraKid: Feb 1, 2012 - 2:13 PM |

Lol yea I seem to like the crawlers more because of where I live. With the right setup and surface(granite) it'll go up almost literally anything one way or another. The looks you get from people are just priceless. With the sprint 2 I remember people would come around, but not really care, as it was just a generic remote control car in their eyes, but when you straddle a shear rock face with a crawler people will stop and comment. I remember at the beach once I had just upgraded the motor and tires and was just fuggin around on this cliff, then my sister comes up and is like "This thing is pretty popular eh?". I turn around and there are like 6 grown men just standing and watching in amazement. After I told them the price tag they seemed to lose interest however lol.
EDIT: Already sold enough parts off my old crawler to pay for the new one!(Axles, shocks, tranny and esc) This post has been edited by SupraKid: Feb 2, 2012 - 12:54 PM |

Very nice setups. I have venom axles on my current rig, just sold my losi shocks and axial axles. I attempted to build a cage, but it didn't work out so i just gave up and bought one lol. I may attempt to build another custom cage again sometime, but it wont be for a while if ever. Any you on RCC?
Ive always wanted to try and recreate my brothers 1:1: Looks A LOT different now though, should get some updated pics, this was in like 09 when I was painting my first celica and got to drive his cobra. This post has been edited by SupraKid: Feb 2, 2012 - 6:27 PM |

Yes they are around but VERY VERY rare...they generally pop up on ebay if they ever do... I think tamiya makes them.
