Im not the biggest turbo geek, this rly is my 1st turbo i ever played with so with that said im curious to know why my turbo looks like this and what needs to be done.




as you can see it doesnt look so pretty

Hi,

do you have a high oil consumpion of the engine?

possible reasons are:

- damaged shaft seal of the turbo
- pressure in the crank case (piston rings) -> the oil comes from the crank case ventilation
- or if your engine does not need many oil it is also from the ventilation but the reason is just high miles on the engine

looks ok to me. you are going to get some oil residue, but i dont see anything that really causes me concern

Doesn't look too bad at all. Check for oil inside your IC and check both directions of shaft play.
