I give creds to your work yo! Even though there are better ways of doing things, i like your style, in that you dont give up!! But seriously i agree with ricochet, in that once you iron out your problems, you will have a damned strong car!

yeah I have bad luck mostly... reached 100mph while testing the car out tonight...didn't even notice until everything started moving fast and the ride got much bumpier hahaha....hit 1.7 bar of boost...confident I can reach 2 Bar solid and quickly with the EFR with an external Wastegate and welding the mani with the turbo...once the mani temps got around 600 F boost seemed to be hitting much harder and quicker...still stutters a bit around 5k and trails off in power around 6k fuel system seems to be lacking a bit...or maybe tuning who knows...have to checkout the datalogger...
and of the cars down here I have still alot of ground to cover...I am never going to be near the black impreza that holds the record, or the guys brother who is .100ms away from the record which the black car got on sunday 6.6 seconds in 1/8 mile, the Caldina next to my car in the pictures is about the same in build, but he actually put in Darton Sleeves in the block and is re tuning it to former glory as subie killer, running 7.1 seconds in the 1/8 mile, I got a crappy 9.6 with 1.3 max boost and stuttering...( good reaction times 0.041 - 0.091 seconds in 3 pulls...) stock 1.3 bar gt4 did 9.1 seconds with a .500 reaction time... so basically... My Fuel Up 1000hp pump and filters have to be put in, remove the turbo section and weld the internal gate shut and weld an external wastegate to the mani to be able to control the EFR... install the nitrous and CO2 systems and TUUUUUUUUUUNEEEEE... thank fully the gt4 with its heavy arse launches sweetly and hooks hard but it was with low power im scared of how much of a monster its going to become. The black subie spins its wheels in 4th gear!! hahaha -------------------- |

small update: Car is in the shop I have a bad wheel bearing in the back and its tear down time, engine and tranny coming down to find leaks and plug em, wire tuck and bay clean ( yes your prayers have been answered) I have found a Toyota IST (same thing as a Scion Xa but JDM) and will be using that as a DD if the loan goes thru. The GT4 was getting and I kid you not 6.9 miles per gallon, It drove me bat **** crazy.
6 gallons of ethanol a day. any suggestions to do while the car is ripped up? -------------------- |

TT targas in general are nearly impossible to find in japan, especially in manual. you'll have much better luck in the U.S.

Most people get the SZ-R Targa top and a late model Toyota Aristo VVT-i 2JZ-GTE engine package or clip

Took it out for a ride today...EFR = freakin insanity... 29 psi in first gear... 35 psi in second gear hitting the boost cut alarm on the EMS...have to have the car tuned again...the aluminum catch tank burst...fuel everywhere that was fun...needs a bigger return line to the tank
