Diagnosing ABS trouble codes Options

This link shown will have most of the info you need to diagnose and fix your abs trouble codes. As well as clearing the ABS codes.

Pretty much the same run through as getting CEL or DTC engine codes. You bridge the Tc and E1 terminals on your Diagnosis box with a paper clip and switch your ignition to the "ON" position. Count the number of flashes and pauses, these will give you the number codes.

Ex. "Flash, Flash, Flash....Pause....Flash, Flash, Flash (LONG PAUSE) Then code repeats" This will give you Code 33 which means your Rear Right ABS sensor has a signal malfunction, either loose connection or some wires were damaged during some kind of job in that area like changing shocks.


Although the link shows mostly RAv4's and Camry's im sure its the same stuff across the family tree

Called Toyota today and the prices are close to what ToyoDIY has them posted for. I guess it depends on your location
