I buy a large amount of jdm parts from japan and
only cheap way is sea freight. Fedex will ship but cost will be crazy for 2 fenders. J-hot used to be good source but they are done. Set i got from them in states was sent fedex freight. Honestly right now yen is way up against dollar so shipping anything from Japan is highest been in 15yrs. -------------------- Old guy with the toys

Have you ever bought fragile parts (like fenders) from somewhere and received them damaged? Just wondering if it's all safe... But I'm willing to pay for the shipping cost even if it's quite high. Tell me guys how much it would cost and I'll tell you if I'm okay with it. |

This may be dumb question but why not just have US/CANADIAN fenders filled and hole cut
for side marker. ? I have shipped large stuff but only from UK and most was heavy (transmission) but smaller.. Problem is space is money and then these are close to being/if not classified as oversized and will raise rates big time I had a set of fenders shipped years ago by desertwolf in one box from TX and it was huge but in US. I would guess 400-700+ to ship fenders fedex from japan.. maybe 250-400 seafreight I just shipped 15 rare celica parts over and that cost 600 and it was mostly small stuff If dead set on fenders i would look at UK as closer and more shipping options and they speak English!!! -------------------- Old guy with the toys

FORGMAN your right the Yen rate is ridiculous over here right now. 80 yen to 1 dollar. ive tried to find ways to ship big stuff out of here before when i was trying to sell my body kit and hood and no one will ship it its to big. im guna try to exhaust all resources first but its not overly promising.

ST205wrc I never used them but might try to contact this company for large stuff..
Caution if use be cheaper to ship a bunch of parts and spread out shipping cost as containers are not cheap but may be best route . Only way those fenders are leaving Japan is on a boat.. I have a few contacts i might see about getting a large order of fenders shipped from UK or JAPAN. http://www.isi-it.jp/english/heavy.html I am shipping this next week cant wait to see shipping bill for this .. ![]() -------------------- Old guy with the toys

OMFG. It would be /$%)!* expensive! At this cost I would give up the idea and try to find them locally lol. I though it would've been a lot less haha. |

Sorry guys, I don't check in here very often.
![]() I have vehicles sent by container from Nagoya to Calgary, AB ... periodically these are larger vehicles (SUVs / vans ) where we can put parts inside. If there is a good way to ship the parts to Nagoya I could have them loaded. Still need to declare customs and there will be a handling fee from the Japan side of course. ST205WRC ... I need stereo brackets for an ST18X and ST20X ... they are RHD specific parts. Do you think you could source these? Cheers, Sean -------------------- www.ZenAutoworks.ca ..
