I bought a hokey universal one from NAPA - and I don't speak the language they have on the back (its in english, but the directions don't make sense).

Does anyone have a clutch alignment tool that they could lend me from one of their previous clutch replacement kits?

Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them.

Yes, I used the deep socket trick on mine too. If the disk is a little loose on the socket, wrap a couple even wraps of electrical tape on it.

go to Canadian Tire. They loan out tools all the time. Go to the service counter and ask. I do this all the time. They usually ask for like $40 then when you return the tool you get your $40 back.
