here is TN it dropped below freezing and snowed a little. I am not used to this....does ice on the car like....snow melting then freezing hurt the paint? Any other cold weather tips? I am not used to cold weather...I am a California Boy originally. It was also pretty weird when my windows froze shut...hehe

the best thing you can do for a car in cold weather is park it indoors... snow doesn't hurt if you what after it dies up salt is a real killer to cars paint.. you could got to a web site that sells car polish and wax most of them have really good info on them

You could get a good car cover. It'd probably keep your windows and doors from freezing and such. Did I mention I had to wear short sleeves today?

I love drivin in snow.. would never take my celi in it but when I still had my old prelude I would go out for hours after work and just drive around in the stuff.. that car kicked a$$ in the snow which was surprising cuz of how low it sat.. but I learned to drive in the snow with an 80 caddy - ummm RWD!

LOL just be careful in snow man... give yourself plenty of room and dont push it

My Celi is my winter car and I have no money right now for tires. I have really bad ones, and the back two are basically bald and the front two maybe have 1/4 tread left. It's a lot of fun, last year I had to use e-brake to get her sideways really quick, now she does it all the time whether I have to or not. It's pretty fun!

I love driving in snow too, also used to stay out way late just driving in it, but I'm not risking the Celica in it unless I have to. too many people out there who dont have a clue on how to drive (let alone in SNOW!)
you should try it in a rear-wheel drive with limited slip, WAY too much fun,,,

Its snowing here now, SUCKS!

I ran water lines to my garage this year so I can pull in and immediately rinse the salt off every night.
