I have noticed all the body kits are for hatchbacks... It says like modification is required to fit coupe... WTF does that mean/entail?

FYI: I have found a coupe that I can get cheap... however I am trying to get info and the like to make it tolerable to look at. Plus I kind of want a project car anyway!

we have some hot lookin coupes out there. mine is not quite done but it sure is on its way! as far as your question goes, the front bumper is the same for both lift or coupe or conv. the rear is different however by the lights and the distance from the wheel to teh end of the bumper. the liftback has a smaller distance.

correct me if im wrong. but there is a rear invader type bumper some where out there. i think i have seen it at www.streetconcept.com, but they are currently remodeling their site so its down.

if you don't like the way the coupe looks don't get it. simple as that.

to answer your question. hatch bodykits will fit but the rear will have to be slightly extended. this entails cutting the rear lip and glassing an extension to accomodate the added length. its recommended that this work be done by a professional and should set you back an extra 300 or so dollars.

its an example of a quality Zephyr kit install. notice how they put that lip around the wheel-well. makes it look real professional.
