About a year-ish ago, one of the little tabs that the privacy cover pivots on broke off. I fixed it with Gorilla Glue but it only lasts for maybe 2 months, then it breaks off again. Today is the 3rd time I've fixed it. Does any one know a better way to fix it more permanently other than buying a new privacy cover?

Yes, there is a much better way to solve this than either buying a new one or fixing the old one. The solution is to buy a used one. Pretty sure mkernz might have one from the car he is parting out. My last two Celicas haven't even had that tab and all that happens is that the cover slides around a little when you open the hatch, but it always sits in place when I close the hatch.

I know, but I'm a perfectonist, so little things bother me. I should've been clearer. By buying a new one, I meant getting one shipped, period. It may be light, but it's fairly large, so shipping will probably be pretty high. I'll check to see what Mike is selling is for, if he's got one to sell.

Fair enough. I totally respect that. I just got used to mine not working because, like you, I didn't want to pay for a new one. I'd say hit up the junk yards around you to see if you can find another one, because shipping would cost more than the actual cover. Liquid Nails always worked pretty well for my broken dead pedal, but it isn't a very pretty thing to look at so I'd say keep that away from your privacy cover.
