I could; the instructions were good but it was a bit odd for the us spec for a few small things. The gauge cluster was easy and the instructions were spot on. The clock was a bit odd, I also feel like my method would be a little odd for the hvac leds as once you installed them into their holsters the led itself was too wide for the opening so I had to feed the leds from the reverse side then install the led's into the holsters. but they came out great, I should also be fixing the clock tomorrow morning. This kit is still a great buy and well worth the money, I would recommend this to anyone and spree has the best customer service I have ever encountered =D

Went back and fixed the clock so all is well Heeeey, that doesn't look half bad! I can't wait to install my kit. Its not high on the priority list right now, but I will get to it when I'm working on the interior again. On a side note; for the USDM HVAC - how hard was it to pull the unit out to work on? -------------------- |

It was a bit of a pain but spree also included an update for the us spec hvac unit, you have to unhook two cables to give the unit slack so you can get to all the screws.

So do I pull the cable all the way through the firewall? Or just enough to get the unit out...? I read the instructions, didn't make sense, but I'm sure it will when I start doing it. -------------------- |

Just enough to get the unit out, after you have the slack unscrew the middle dial as its held inplace by two screws in the back. You then take the unit out via the clips on the side. After that undo all the screws so that you may gte to the board in the back, from there hook up the leds but you will have to be careful getting them in as the leds are a pinch wider than the bulbs. What I did was put the leds through sideways and all was well.

Not much done but got some seat covers as my driver seat was torn on the outside and fluffy goodness was falling out a lot; not bad for $16
I also got the wrinkles out, had to attach the straps on the bottom=P This post has been edited by NYp8tBaller07: Jun 6, 2011 - 3:47 PM -------------------- Power in Balance 90 ST coupe- Sold 95 ST hatch- Dead :’( 02 Impreza RS- DD |

Well some neat info I have found over some time. I use to use Q full synthetic with Fram high mileage oil filters on my last celica. I had noticed that even though I would change the oil every 2,000-2,500, the oil would be pitch black and thick. It puzzled me but then I just thought it must be very dirty inside.
Fast forward to my current Celica and I did the same thing; use Q full synthetic and Fram oil filter. Needles to say the oil change was very dark and sludgy but it was to be expected being this was the first oil change since I got the car. So the second change came and the same thing; went online and there was a thread open in which a member asked what oil and filter to you use. After much discussion i found that mobile1 oil filters were really good, so theres one change. Next was oil, I was looking around the car and came across a sticker that had fallen that said Valvoline. I asked the previous owner what oil he used for each change and he stated he used Valvoline for every one. After all of this new information I changed to Valvoline 10W30 full Synthetic and Mobile1 M1-103 oil filters. Since this change I have noticed my oil becoming lighter in color and having a lower viscosity. I have changed my oil 4 times yet I noticed this change on the first use. I have to say that I am very please with my change/choice and have noticed a smoother engine and improved mpg because of it. -------------------- Power in Balance 90 ST coupe- Sold 95 ST hatch- Dead :’( 02 Impreza RS- DD |

An even better filter is the Bosch Distance Pluss. It has 99.9% efficiency, the highest capacity of any filter on the market and the highest burst protection. Advance Auto Parts has a synthetic deal with Castrol Edge and a Bosch Distance Plus filter for $28.99.
M1 filters aren't too bad though. 97% efficiency and high burst protection. -------------------- 1994 Toyota Celica GT-S 5S-FE 190k Miles. Project car 1992 Toyota Celica GT 5S-FE 170k Miles. So got a chance to get the new/used muffler on the celi. I noticed a tiny lose in low end but high end has improved a lot. I can feel a difference; I had no idea how restrictive the stock muffler was. I'm very happy with the Ractive muffler, it looks good, and sounds very deep; sub WRX like. I would recommend this muffler to anyone
Out with the old In with new Uncle doing some welding And shes on! And just a random pic of his Ducati -------------------- Power in Balance 90 ST coupe- Sold 95 ST hatch- Dead :’( 02 Impreza RS- DD |

Nice. Try and upload a sound clip if you can. Did you stick with the stock piping? What's the muffler diameter in?
