ok guys the day has come im going to raise the boost on my st205 with a manual boost controller.
i was wondering if 1.1bar is safe to run for me? i mean will it be ok for the pistons, turbo, ecu and engine?? not alot of mods just have blitz sonic power induction kit, blitz nur spec exhaust, and blitz dump valve.. so is 1.1 safe for me or no? ( going to lag the chargecooler aswell soon) |

Yes 1.1 bar should be just fine.
Just keep an eye on how the car behaves. If you feel any hesitation than turn down the boost. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

Hi,
this depends on the mods but on a stock car is should give you ~270PS (DIN) (280-290PS with further mods) greetz -------------------- |

ah well with the blitz induction kit and blitz exhaust i think i should easily see 270 ps..
so just to be clear boosting to 1,1 and not driving like an idiot is no problem for the pistons or anything else correct? |

Just keep up with maintenance on the celi and it should be perfectly fine. I'm boosting at 1 bar all year round and the car is happy with it!
