Doesn't this usually mean that a valve adjustment is needed? Because I got my valves adjusted not more than 12k miles ago... is it already time again?

Who did the adjustment for you ?? It could also be a sticky lifter from sludge build up, but if the ticking is that bad take the valve cover off and recheck the clearance.

7a has REALLY noisy injectors, sounds like a rapid and sharp clicking noise. valve tap is deeper more "mechanical" sounding.

does yours ticking start at around 3000 rpms? cause mine does and i cant figure out what it its Idling. It's probably the injectors, or a sticky lifter someone had said earlier. exhaust leak? That'll make a ticking sound. Timing/accessory belt loose? That'll make a ticking sound No, the exhaust is fine. The timing belt was replaced less than 2k miles ago and the other belts should be fine as well, it hasn't even been 12k for those. -------------------- taking too long to mod since '09
