Edited for correctness...

I wouldnt say it would be lighter than a carbon fibre product.
This is what RTperformance has advertised concerning the difference in weights..another company selling the carbon fibre bonnet..(btw im not marketing for them, just using their "advertised" stats for credibility)

OEM bonnet - 11.5kg
RTP carbon bonnet - 9.5

Honestly the weight savings that are made are either for the extreme, or maybe for those who dont care and really just want that carbon fibre look...

brining this back up. is this hood made specifically to fit with the gt-four front bumper? heard some ebay gt-four hoods were made for usdm bumpers. im debating on whether i want this or opt for a jdm hood. they're about the same price anyways kindasad.gif

The one from upscale is not the same as the RTP hood, the upscale Hood is a wet carbon hood, while the RTP hood is a dry carbon, wetcarbon weight more than stock, while drycarbon weighs less than stock

Aside from weight, what are other major differences between wet and dry CF?

Both are lighter than USDM, but the dry carbon is lighter than the GT4 hood

Anyone know where I could get a CF st205 hood? The one upscale is selling is for the usdm bumper. I just can't justify buying a brand new st205 hood for $800 new kindasad.gif

How much did he quote you for shipping. Ive been eyeing the RTP hoods for a bit now, and never got the motivation to ask them or yellowchinaman about shipping lol....
