Has anyone wrapped the stock header?

If not, does anyone know if it would be okay to wrap the stock header, or would it be detrimental to the header?

Why would you even want to? Just keep the heat shield on it.

Actualy, me and a few other peps ok ow have done it, my xr3i and my crx sol both had four branch manifolds. It's suppost to keep the gasses hotter and thinner so it flows faster down the system and aids response etc, my gt has a standard four branch that I'm going to wrap, only as my standard one Is rated to 500 brake supposedly. It really depends what sort of manifold you have and will it stand up to the extra heat and won't go bang!

wrapping will also help a lot if u have a ram air intake on your celica, since it will drop the temp of the air in the engine bay.
