Wanted to fix my codes, and rented a code reader.
reader will not power up when connected in the celi, I tryed it in another car and the reader is good. any help? there is only 4 wires going to the port. |

Use a voltmeter and check to see if your port is receiving power and then check ground also

Going to sum this post up as well: hopefully this will help someone in the future.
The code reader I rented had an internal short. This blew an OBD fuse on the celi. This fuse is located under the PASSENGER kick panel (there is like only 1 or 2 fuses over there). replace fuse, complain to the place of the shotty code reader, swap out for better one, read codes -Kyle |
