Very valid points in this thread. I've been looking at the girlfriend's engine bay the last few days and I've decided that since the car won't be a dedicated autocross car, will see minimal amounts of spirited driving, and the fact that I'm still putting a motor in it with a cast-iron block that is sub-200 hp, it really won't be worth the work. The Celica already handles well and doing some basic suspension work will be enough for me. Maybe one day if I build a dedicated track car, this will be worth the work. But for a DD, I'll pass. Thanks for the input.
