I cam across this electric supercharger thing. It's simmiler to that tornado cookie cutter lookin thing that I always see on tv but electric. Sounds kinda cool but I don't know how well it will work. Has anyone used it? |

those are a waste of money.. if you really want one then just go to a local hardware store and you can purchase all of the parts there for alot cheaper.
there have been tests done on those and they can actually slow done the flow of air inside of your intake.. If I can find it I will post the results of a guy with a camero that installed that and checked the air flow volume of it and it was alot worse with it installed -------------------- 99 project version 3.0.. hello SEMA 2010 =) |

that is an electric SC. it operates off of 12v batteries(preferable multiple racing batteries) that you have to store on the car. it is an actual roots type SC with the pulley assembly replaced with a tri motor setup. lasts all of 15 seconds $3k for 15 seconds of 5.5psi at 405cfm. i'll let you know when the cost of my REAL turbo setup hits $3k and it runs 8psi(my turbo can do 20+psi no sweat) all damn day long. 5k mark... you talkin for the turbo setup or for mods to the car total

by 5k i meant 5,000 miles have been put on my car since i put the turbo on. turbo setup cost me $2200 so far, wheels and tires were $700, EGR vsv and vaccum modulator were about $170 that is all the money i have spent on my car not including gas and oil and teh repairs from the accident. -------------------- 1994 Celica GT4 WRC Edition
