Well, bought this 95 ST about two years ago when I was going through college, and didn't have any money to work on the things that could use some attention. Got this horse for $1,000 with 140k on the odo. Can't say I'm rollin now, but I'd like to at least fix up some stuff while I have a positive net income. Here's what I want to do:

Paint/Rust removal:

And maybe replace that bumper since it's f'ed up...but only if I can find one in good condition in a junkyard.

I'd like to paint the wheels as well, what color would look best?

Clean, detail the engine:

Dirty!

And last, but most certainly not least, fix THIS:

NOOOOOOOO, yeah it's an auto. The only thing is, I just don't know if I can do anything about it. My skills are limited, and finding the parts to do the swap has been less than pleasant. I don't know what it's like where you guys are from, but in northern Indiana, 6th gen Celica's don't exist, especially not in junkyards. If I could find the parts, I wonder how much I could expect to pay a shop to do the swap, assuming I could do the AT removal myself (which I'm confident about)?

The other fantastic thing is my e-brakes don't work....Haven't figured out why, but I might need them if I throw a 5-speed in there....

Well thanks for looking

Welcome to the site!

If you're serious about the auto to manual swap, this guy is selling the complete deal for the ST Celica

Gold rims huh? I hadn't thought of that. I was considering going with black, but I wonder if that would work with the stock styling.

And thanks for letting me know about that complete set for the manual swap, though I don't think the whole thing is available anymore.

Man, having a yellow Celica is cool, but finding the paint for it is quite the female dog. Even knowing the paint code doesn't get me far. I'll have to go somewhere they can just mix up the paint to match, as I'm sure it's not the original finish anymore.

By the way, does anyone know where the pump for the washer jets is located? I need to switch it out and it would be nice to know where to look first. Thanks!

pump is in the water tank located in the front of the pass side fender, remove the front bumper to access it. Or you could pull back the fender well plastic.

I will return one day.

OK, thanks for letting me know. When I remove the bumper to install my second hi-beam, I'll make sure to switch out the pump at the same time.
